Tasting notes from July 2008: This is a wine with intense red color and violet insinuations. On the nose it show interesting hints of fruit like blackberry and cherry, as well as spices and a pleasant toasted touch; the product of oak aging. In the mouth it translates into a fine red wine with great balance and good finish.
Varieties:
65% Carménère, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec. The grapes are planted in Sandy Clay Loam
Harvest:
Hand harvested between May 5th and May 10th, 2006.

Ageing:
100% aged in oak barrels with a mid-high toast for 12 months.
Harmony with food:
It is recommended to serve this wine with spicy dishes, red meats, pastas, salmon and cheeses.
Age capacity:
Before 2011 it is recommended to decant the wine and serve in fine crystal glases to 16ºC (16.8°F). After 2011, decant the wine and drink at 18ºC or (64.4°F).
