Year: | 2005 | Tasting Notes: | Tasting Notes November 2007: This Carmenere has an intense, bright, and deep ruby red color. In nose it has aromas of chocolate and cigar box. In mouth it has soft and velvet tannins, its acidity is medium and it has good long finish. | Varieties: | 85% Carménère, 10% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. All the varieties are estate grown form Sandy Clay Loam. | Harvest: | Only hand – picked grapes between April 27th, and May 7th, 2005. | Bottling: | | Ageing: | 50% aged for 10 months in American medium toasted oak barrels and 50% is kept in stainless steel tanks, which provides the perfect balance. | Harmony with food: | Our Carmenere is ideal to be served with meats with bittersweet sauces, such as, roast beef, and spicy dishes. | How to drink: | Cellaring until 2013: Decant the wine and let it breath for one hour, serve at 17°C (62,6ºF) in a wide.
